The Transportation & Transportation Security Law Section invites section members to meet DOT Acting General Counsel John E. Mr. Putnam has been appointed as the Deputy General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Transportation, and serves as the Acting General Counsel. In this role, he works closely with the Department’s senior leadership and nearly 500 attorneys to manage legal and policy matters concerning all of the Department’s operating administrations.
